Day 1 Arrival to Istanbul
Arrival to Istanbul and meet for transfer on to your hotel. Rest of
the day at leisure (as per your flight arrival time). Overnight in Istanbul .
Day 2 Istanbul City Tour
Breakfast at hotel then depart on a full day tour to visit some of
the most important historical sights of Istanbul including the Blue
Mosque, St Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Hippodrome and Obelisk, Grand
Bazaar and Suleymaniye Mosque. After the tour, return to the hotel
and evening at leisure. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 3 Bosphorous Cruise then on to Cappadocia
Depart from the hotel for a morning cruise on the Bosphorous which
seperates the East from West. During the cruise we visit the Spice
(Egyptian) Bazaar and Rumeli Fortress. At end of the cruise, transfer
back to your hotel and the remainder of the day is at leisure. (There
is the option to extend this to a full days tour to include visits to
Dolmabahce Palace, Bosphorous Bridge and Camlica Hill.)
In the early evening, transfer on to Istanbul bus station for overnight travel by intercity bus to Cappadocia. (NOTE: Direct flights are also
available if you prefer, overnight would be in hotel in Cappadocia). Overnight onboard busi
Day 4 Goreme & other sights in Cappadocia Tour
Meet at the bus station on your arrival and transfer to the hotel for
a short rest. Then depart on the full days tour to visit Devrent Valley
and Monk's valley (Pasabagi) where you will find the world famous
fairy chimneys. Break for lunch in Avanos then on toGoreme Open-Air
Museum to explore the numerous churches and monasteries with their
frescoes. These churches & monasteries where carved from the soft
volcanic stone and decorated by Medieval Orthodox Christian Monks
around 1000-1200AD. A visit to Ortahisar Natural Rock Castle for
panoramic views. After tour the evening is at leisure. Overnight in Cappadocia

Day 5 Cappadocia Tour with underground city
Breakfast at hotel, check out then depart on another full day tour
this time starting with a visit to the famous Derinkuyu Underground
City which was built as a defence and hiding site during the period of
spreading Christianity. Then on to Cavusin Old Christian Village where
you will find a triple Apse church and the monastery of St John the
Baptist. In Sinasos Old Greek Village you find old Greek and Ottoman
houses. The days touring includes an easy grade 3km hike through
Red Valley offering some great scenery that would otherwise not be
accessible by car and a visit to Uchisar Natural Rock Castle. At end of
tour, collect luggage from hotel reception and transfer on to the bus
station for travel by intercity overnight bus to Pamukkale. Overnight onboard bus.
Day 6 Pamukkale Tour
Arrival early morning to Pamukkale where you will be met at the bus
station and transferred on to join the group tour which visits the
natural formation of the travertens "Cotton Cliffs" and the ruins of
Hierapolis. After the tour transfer on to the hotel in Kusadasi for
check-in and evening at leisure.Overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 7 Ephesus Tour with House of Virgin Mary
Depart from your hotel on a full day tour visiting Ephesus, the best
preserved Greco-Roman City in the world. Here you see the Agora,
Odeon, Curetes Street, Celsius Library, famous Roman Baths, the
Grand Theatre and Marble Street. After lunch, depart for the House
of Virgin Mary where she is said to have spent the last of her days.
It is a pilgrimage site for many people of all different denominations.
The tour also includes a visit to the remains of Artemis Temple. The
days tour ends with transfer back to hotel and evening at leisure.Overnight in Kusadasi
Day 8 Marmaris (Turkey) to Rhodes (Greece)
Breakfast, check out and transfer on to the bus station to depart
by intercity bus to Marmaris. On arrival to Marmaris, check-in at the
port, pass through customs and take the afternoon ferry for the
crossing over the Rhodes Island. On arrival meet for transfer to hotel with the evening at leisure.Overnight in Rhodes .
Day 9 Day of leisure in Rhodes
Free day at leisure to explore the old town of Rhodes, the Lyndos
area or simply relax on the beach, the choice is yours. Overnight in Rhodes
Day 10 Rhodes to Heraklion (Crete)
Breakfast, check out and as per flight time (morning or evening)
transfer on to Rhodes Airport for departure. On flight arrival to
Heraklion, meet for transfer to hotel and rest of time at leisure.Overnight in Heraklion .
Day 11 Heraklion at leisure
Free day at leisure to explore the city, capital of Crete. Highly
recommended is to visit Knossos Palace and the Archaeological
Museum which houses artefacts of Minoan era and many others. Overnight in Heraklion.
Day 12 Heraklion to Santorini
Breakfast at hotel, check out and transfer on to the port for the
morning highspeed ferry on to Santorini. Arrival around 2 hours later
and transfer to hotel with remainder of the day at leisure.Overnight in Santorini .
Day 13 Day of leisure in Santorini
Free day at leisure to relax on one of the many different beaches of
Santorini (gold, red or black sand) or explore the capital, Fira. Overnight in Santorini .
Day 14 Santorini to Athens by ferry (or flight if preferred)
Breakfast at hotel, check out and as per your preferred departure
time transfer on to the port for morning or afternoon ferry to Athens
On arrival, meet for transfer to hotel for check-in. Overnight in Athens.
Day 15 Athens Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, depart on a half day morning tour of Athens which
includes a visit to the Acropolis, its museum and the Parthenon. Also
view the House of Parliament, Memorial to the Unknown Soldier,
National Library, Evzones in their picturesque uniform, Presidential
Palace, the Panatheanic Stadium (where the first Olympic Games of
the modern era were held in 1896), Temple of the Olympian Zeus
and Hadrian's Arch. After the mornings tour, the afternoon is at
leisure for you to further explore Athens on your own. (Optional
afternoon tour to Cape Sounion to visit the Temple of Poseidon.) Overnight in Athens .
Day 16 Departure from Athens
Breakfast, check out and as per your international flight departure
time transfer on to Athens Airport .
